Typically when someone reads that their product in the grocery store is from "farm to table", they think of a local producer or someone who grows everything organically. In reality, farm-to-table simply means the grower/producer owns every step of the selling process from the farm to the table. For example, 920 Cattle Co. in Millen, GA is a Farm To Table operation.
They own a farm and raise lamb and beef for market purposes. Once the animal is raised, cared for, and finished on their property it gets trailered out to their butcher shop, Fries Frozen Foods. They bought Fries Frozen Food in 2018, where they process pigs, beef, and lamb. From there, their label is put on the packaging and sold at Fries Frozen Foods, and various farmers markets around GA as well as doing online purchasing and shipping. So every step from the farm to the customer's home and in between is owned and operated by the same company. It becomes one large circle, making it Farm to Table.
